The freestanding 270 Awning launch follows the release of the innovative Boss Aluminium roof top tent in 2019, which took roof top camping to a new level of comfort, ease of set up, and durability.

The founder and chief designer of Boss Aluminium, Dave Whitehead, identified the need for a premium range of off-road touring accessories such as the 270 degree Awning following the proliferation of cheap imported products over the past decade. Dave states…“All Boss accessories and vehicle builds are designed, tested and manufactured in Australia and built to withstand the toughest off-road conditions. Our customers demand and expect the very best products from us. Up until now, there has not been an awning available anywhere in the world that meets our expectations, hence we went about building the 270 Awning ourselves.”
